A refined, spacious and luxurious world high above Merano welcomes guests with heavenly views, tailored elegance, absolute privacy and breathtaking sophistication.

The hotel's six villas feature terraces that are an extension of the interior living space while generous windows enhance the breathtaking views. The architecture of the Arua is contemporary but designed with the natural environment in mind. The structure incorporates the old Gandbauer farm on the property. The sloping terrain gives the impression of enjoying the spectacular views from a privileged vantage point, with the ever-changing light and colors evoking a theatrical presentation.

Each villa has its own style that blends harmoniously with the surroundings, creating a symbiosis between inside and outside.
The contemporary interiors, furnished with the furniture of famous Italian designers, have a Bauhaus character defined by natural colors and materials such as wood and stone. A collaboration with Molteni&C | Dada provides a homely ambience. Glass, leather and concrete add elegance and warmth, while furniture ranges from Penta lamps to curtains by Eco Design and pieces by Gessi & Karol.

Location

Merano is rich in sights, from the medieval city gates to the Tappeiner Promenade and castles such as Trauttmansdorff with its botanical gardens and the Princely Castle, which served as the residence of Archduke Sigismund of Austria. Also popular are the old Ortenstein Tower and the Gothic St. Nicholas Church and St. Barbara Chapel, both from the 15th century, while the Steinerner Steg Bridge dates from the 17th century.
