In a historic district of Palma, renowned architectural firm Wingårdhs has transformed a 16th-century building into a welcoming world of brass and wood, artfully blending Huguet tiles and Scandinavian aesthetics.

The greenery of the surrounding Tramuntana mountains defines the hotel's color scheme.
Black ceiling beams and doors contrast brilliantly with the white walls and green and white custom Huguet tiles that are a common thread throughout. The interior design features authenticity and sustainability. Local materials and craftsmanship create a connection to Mallorca that is underscored by a Scandinavian presence. Custom furniture and vintage items are complemented by brands such as Artek, B&B Italia and OX Denmarq.

Following the motto "architecture is art," Wingårdhs built its Mallorcan masterpiece around a spacious lobby/lounge.
Such a large, beautifully appointed gathering space is a rare and inviting attribute on the island, as well as the hotel's crown jewel. The lounge design flows seamlessly into the hotel's bar and restaurant. The ceramic flooring provides a modern and artistic ambiance that highlights the authentic, fully restored cross vaults.

At the Xalest restaurant, the appetizers and main courses are all about Mallorcan food culture and Spanish food culture.
From tapas and pintxos to exquisite main courses, chef Xema Álvarez offers locally inspired cuisine that combines his Mallorcan heritage with the Spanish tradition of sharing. The sophisticated ground-floor restaurant features a relaxed atmosphere and modern ambiance that makes both guests and locals feel right at home. The One Bar, attached to the restaurant, offers little-known regional wines, signature cocktails, and reinterpreted old-school bar concepts in a pool/patio area.
